this has to be one of the most brilliantly subversive political comedy bits ive ever seen. good work colbert. i couldnt tell if bush was really embarrassed (his face was all red) or if he got really sunburnt recently. maybe he choked on a pretzel and passed out while he was laying out in the sun recently.
me wishes the camera had been aimed on bush more to capture his, "I don't know what face to make?" looks. the crowd seemed shocked/uncomfortable in lots of the crowd shots. way to kill em colbert! man has balls!
Here's a Torrent of the whole shabanger, including the dual Bush bit, and opening words from the head of the whitehouse press admin. and i think, some commentary from different media sources. for those completists out there.
