Look at da Pudums!
It's official, I'm gonna be a (puppy) papa. After a few months of searching i've found the little guy I've been looking for. He looks alot like this gal here, only he's a boy, so he's got a boxier face, and a wiener. I've got a couple weeks to come up with a proper name... This is the hard part. So I'm putting it out there for all of you. Give the little fella a name - I'll tell you what i've got so far.
Balin, Allister, Orrey, Townes, Atticus, Ichabod, Theophilus, Beaudean, Bergen and my current favorite "Oldham".What say ye?

oh the name game. never easy! okay babe, you know how i feel about orrey main mccuin, (oh the alliteration and the reference!) but i also really like oldham, atticus, and townes. ichabod brings up visions of the skinny, awkward disney figure, much as i love mr. burton and mr. depp's attempt to change that image. Theo doesn't have the power and bergen is too candace. best of luck darling!
so, swayze is out of the running? you better name that dog 'mud' then casue he's doomed!
Balin, son of Fundin, born in 2763, was a valiant dwarf
Townes and Oldham are my favorites. How do you pronounce "Beaudean"?
Have you considered "The Le Duo (puptet)"?
Aleister, obviously. And spell it right.
If you live in Burlington and you have a dog its the law, you gotta name him Sequoia. Otherwise you get a fine. It that wasn't true I'd call him Aquadora.
LOL; or you could give name him like a hippie parent names their kids in Montpelier.
"Come here Moonbeam Sunflower!"
Marley. If you live in Burlington, the dog is named Marley.
i vote for 'dog nap'
maybe he'll tear bens face off in front of radio bean
I'm going to announce this now to seal my copyright--when I get my pug dog, it's name is going to be Lord Pugsley Barkins III. And he will enter the house on a red velvet carpet & we will form a family band and tour the countryside. And you won't be invited!
Marley? Cmon... It's obviously Trey.
That's a great name Jay, it's that kind of creativity that i'm hoping to tap into. you know, drunk energy.
id say go with Bergen.
or Bergman....
Bergen i'm a fan of - what i liked about it is that it means "Of/from the mountain" which is fitting for a Swiss Mountain Dog.
Dude. you can't name him Oldham unless you are naming him Oldham for a reason other than Will Oldham, otherwise it's too hipster cool, and in turn, lame. and this from a girl who loves him AND the name Oldham, still...no.
No it'd definitely be because of will oldham; but riddle me this, if it is lame via hip to name a dog after a hip person, is it equally if not more lame to NOT name your dog because of that same reason... are you that concerned about what is "cool"?
My first dog was named Bean, after Francis Bean Cobain... how uncool/cool is that?
What about Dogs:Ohia is that doable?
i think you should name him Freckles!
how big do these guys get? does he need a big smelly masculine name? if so, oldham is no good.
since he's a swiss dog, you should name him a german name like adicus or hansel. Hansel "Freckles" McCuin.
hehe - i think your on to something mandy; duly noted.
Jenks Jr.
I have no idea at all, I'm just wondering how JC feels about having a dog around the house!
Rather leaning towards Atticus - a name with a good hard consanant or two - helps get their attention when you need to. I think. *shrugs*
